This grant program allows any staff member or teacher to request funding for programs, materials, and/or services, which are not customarily budgeted by the district. These projects will contribute to, supplement, and enhance the overall excellence of the PES experience, benefiting a large segment of the school population.
This year’s grant program has $3,000 budgeted and we will call for proposals twice this year, December and February. The request deadline for this year was Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 6PM.
Each project has been reviewed by both Dr. Beaver and the PTO Executive Board at our Board meeting on Tuesday, December 7th. The grant proposals are now being presented to the PES families for an online vote. Since we do not have an official December general PTO meeting, we have created a secure online form.
We will host a 30 minute Zoom Q & A session for families with questions on Tuesday, December 14th at 7PM, and voting will close at 5PM on Friday, December 17th.
We hope to announce all of the grants awarded during the week of December 20th, by Thursday, December 23rd, at the latest.
